Xiaoying Qu

Xiaoying Qu is a film director, photographer, and production + product designer who fell in love with moving images at 12 when she watched The Shawshank Redemption on her dad's work computer 2 hours after bed time.

Prior to living in LA, Xiaoying grew up in Qingdao, China. She moved to New Hampshire for high school and Minnesota for college where she studied computer science. Today, she splits her time directing and prefercting her skills in production design, meeting those stories that tell us what it means to be human.
